Included in the very positive critique of the film, Hanke also commented a bit on CNGM Pictures as a whole. “The folks at CNGM Pictures are a delightful little band of filmmakers and actors that seem to produce a feature film about once a year.” He continues, “I like it when a troupe forms like CNGM, because they essentially take the idea behind the old-school theater troupe and bring it into the 21st century of cinema.”

The World Premiere of Coasting will be held at the 2010 Lake County Film Festival on Saturday, March 6th at 8:20 PM. An encore screening will play on Monday, March 8th at 8:00 PM. In addition, CNGM Pictures will be throwing their company premiere on Saturday, March 20th at Cutting Hall in Palatine. Tickets for the red-carpet event go on sale Monday, February 15th.

Since 2006, CNGM has been quite fortunate to have had a film selection at the festival each year. In 2006, CNGM produced Unknown (in association with Graye Horizon Pictures) written and directed by Nick Thompson. Steve Coulter’s Fate Twisted Simply then made its festival debut at the 2007 festival. In 2008, screenwriter David B. Grelck’s feature directorial debut, White Out, found its way into competition. Finally, Sean Colbert’s quirky comedy short, Gnome Man’s Land was featured in the 2009 Lake County Shorts Program.

This March, come out to support the Lake County Film Festival and all the great films that have been selected!
