  • “['Coasting' is] a Film That Flies in the Face of Convention.”
By CNGM Insider on February 11, 2010 | No Comments Comments

coasting6MicroFilmmaker.com’s Jeremy Hanke recently reviewed CNGM’s latest feature, Coasting, awarding it this month’s “Best of Show!”  The film (written by David B. Grelck and Michael P. Noens, produced by Steve Coulter and Mark Stewart Iverson) received a 9.1 rating out of a possible 10, marking it one of the top scores that MicroFilmmaker has ever given a feature film.

Included in the very positive critique of the film, Hanke also commented a bit on CNGM Pictures as a whole.  “The folks at CNGM Pictures are a delightful little band of filmmakers and actors that seem to produce a feature film about once a year.” He continues, “I like it when a troupe forms like CNGM, because they essentially take the idea behind the old-school theater troupe and bring it into the 21st century of cinema.”

The World Premiere of Coasting will be held at the 2010 Lake County Film Festival on Saturday, March 6th at 8:20 PM.  An encore screening will play on Monday, March 8th at 8:00 PM.  In addition, CNGM Pictures will be throwing their company premiere on Saturday, March 20th at Cutting Hall in Palatine.  Tickets for the red-carpet event go on sale Monday, February 15th.

Once available, tickets can be purchased both at cngmpictures.com and the film’s official web site, coastingmovie.com!
