cardiffupdateThe film’s producers, director and story analysts have begun to workshop the script with screenwriter Nick Cardiff.  The collaborative team of artists are breaking down the elements in the script to get it ready for the final production draft.  Producers are estimating that production dates will be set by the end of April 2010.  Auditions and production crew hiring is expected to begin in late April or early May.

Fortress of Forever tells the story of Danny, a 22-year old who has just graduated from college in Chicago with his close girlfriend, Kate.  Having not returned to his small-town home in the past five years until now, he finds himself catching up with his old high school friends that have yet to leave town. The longer he stays, the harder he finds it to leave.  Danny has the desire and drive for something greater, but finds himself building non-existent walls that prevent him from escaping his self-inflicted fortress.
