As of a couple of weeks ago, the official site for CNGM’s latest feature project, Coasting was relaunched with a new design and some great multimedia page features! If you’re interested in taking a listen to the music behind the film, you’ll be able to find an overture of composer Geoff Shell’s original score, as well as some original songs by Chicago musician Josh Rosen! On the video side of things, the site features an interview with leading actors Jonathan C. Legat and Stephanie Wyatt. So far the film has been submitted to a number of 2010 film festivals, including: Phoenix, Los Angeles, Lake County, Ann Arbor, Slamdance and Sundance Film Festivals. On the horizon, Coasting will be finding its way to London to be considered for the London Independent Film Festival, as well as France for consideration at the Cannes Inpendent Film Festival. Of course, this is all still just the beginning of the submission process as CNGM Pictures plans to send the film all over the globe!

Matthew J. Arauz Reinvents VampiresBy CNGM Insider on November 20, 2009 | 1 Comment
Writer/Director Matthew J. Arauz (Urn Doctor, M.D.) is currently working with Michael P. Noens (Coasting) to develop a new feature screenplay currently being referred to as the Untitled Arauz/Noens Vampire Project. The concept that they are putting together for this horror/thriller involves almost completely reinventing typical vampire mythology. Arauz says they are about 95% done with the outline and will be soon constructing a scene by scene breakdown shortly. While the plan for production is currently unknown, the project will continue to develop as we move into the new year with CNGM’s intent to produce once the final script has been approved. Nick Cardiff and Katherine Cunningham are attached to star, but have made no official obligation to the project.
