Illinois State University graduate, Mikey Laird has agreed to direct CNGM’s next short film project, The Pitch.  This makes it not only Laird’s debut, but also screenwriter Stephen Pratt’s.  The Pitch tells the story of a young, mildly successful screenwriter (to be played by Jonathan C. Legat) who is given the opportunity to pitch his script to two hot-shot Hollywood producers (Emily Skyle and Thomas J. Akouris).  Shortly after he begins, he discovers that the producers are looking to go in a different direction…  An extremely different direction.  Danny Crook will be the Director of Photography and Michael P. Noens will produce.
