This
winter, the producers of Irving Renquist, Ghost
Hunter will be putting a new teen comedy into
production with debut director Jonathan C. Legat.
The film will have a cast of nearly 20, including a
new star, Jared Winkler (pictured on the right with
actress Angela Wascher).
Producers
Grelck and Noens say that the new teen comedy, Never
Have I Ever will feature the largest cast and
crew CNGM has ever assembled. CNGM has not
produced a full-out comedy since the release of Please
Wait to be Seated in May of 2004.
Never
Have I Ever tells the story of Charlie
Brandis (Jared Winkler) who leads a quiet and uneventful life as a
wallflower. His parents trust him, his friends like
him, girls are indifferent toward him. Then there's
the girl he's watched from afar, Annie Briggs (Annie
Rix) , who
doesn't even know he exists. Until today. For today,
the powers of fate conspire against him when jock
friend Gary (Nick Mikula) decides to throw a party at Charlie's
house because the Brandis parents are away; a party
specifically orchestrated to do one thing, put Charlie
and Annie together. The wrench comes in the form of Gary's older
sister Margot (Kate Kuen), a girl who Charlie has also loved from
afar, and who might be interested in him as well. The
question is, when will Charlie stop doing things other people want him to and
stand up for himself?
